Every week this summer, neighbors across Nashua are sharing one extra grocery item through our Donation Stations. One bag of carrots. One tomato from the garden. One small act of generosity.
It all adds up.
Since launching in 2020, Lil' Veggie Givers have shared over 102,000 pounds of fresh vegetables, helping neighbors enjoy healthy, locally grown food all season long.
Find your Donation Station
Many of our stations are tucked into shady spots to help keep fresh produce cool, so they may not be obvious at first glance. Once you've found your closest station, donating is as easy as adding one extra item to your grocery cart.
Even one vegetable matters. When hundreds of neighbors each share a little, it creates something extraordinary.

We would love for you to join us!
Signing up helps us stay connected with neighbors who are participating and allows us to share updates throughout the season, including special requests when certain items are especially needed.
Most importantly, it helps us understand how many neighbors are ready to make generosity part of their routine.

Can I add a Donation Station in my neighborhood?
Yes!
Having Donation Stations throughout Nashua makes it easier for neighbors to participate.
If you have a shady location that could work for a Donation Station, email us at hello@grownashua.org.
Can I take vegetables from the Donation Station?
Donation Stations are for collecting donations only. They are not self-serve food pickup locations.
Grow Nashua collects the vegetables each day and shares them with neighbors through our Lil' Free Farmstands and Lil' Free Veggie Truck.

How did Lil' Free Farmstands begin?
Lil' Free Farmstands began with a simple idea: What if neighbors brought their "Sunday best" vegetables to share?
In 2020, we invited gardeners to bring their extra harvest to church on Sundays so neighbors could share fresh produce with one another.
What started as a small seed of an idea quickly grew into something much bigger.
Today, Lil' Free Farmstands have grown into a community-wide effort where neighbors grow, buy, share, and connect. Each season, thousands of pounds of fresh produce make their way through Donation Stations, the Lil' Free Veggie Truck, and Farmstands across Nashua.
The idea has stayed the same from the beginning:

Máme oblasti v Nashua, kde je ťažké ľahko sa dostať do obchodov, ktoré predávajú cenovo dostupné a zdravé jedlá, alias potravinové púšte. Takže tu nájdeme naše bezplatné farmy.
"It makes a big difference because we are on fixed income and can supplement our groceries which we have to put on a credit card. Since visiting the stand I have learned to prepare meals that I never imagined making. I Google recipe ideas , add protein & I'm all set. Since visiting the farm stand I have been inspired to educate myself on seasonal produce, how it is grown & ways to incorporate different kinds of produce into our meals . We are truly grateful. TY!"
